Truly an Association of the Body Builders, by the Body Builders, and for the Body Builders. The OBBA was formed to propagate and popularize the sport of body building in Odisha.

The OBBA is affiliated with numerous esteemed Boards including the Odisha Sports Promotion Board, Odisha Civil Services, Cultural and Sports Board, Ordnance Factory Sports Promotion Board, Major Port Sports Control Board, Services Sports Control Board, Odisha Police Sport Control Board, and the Odisha Civil Services and Cultural Sport Board. There are more than 5000 athletes (men and women) registered with the OBBA. These affiliated Sports Control Boards have extended facilities like recruitment, promotional incentives in government bodies, and eligibility for National Sports Awards for athletes participating in competitions organized, arranged, and managed by the Odisha Body Building Association.

The Executive Committee of OBBA boasts many illustrious and prominent personalities in the field of body building. The Committee includes highly respected figures in the fitness industry who serve in various leadership roles. The OBBA is committed to conducting activities and seminars on varied topics such as anti-doping, goal setting, stress management, and more for the benefit of athletes and officials. The Judges Clinic, aimed at the continuous upgradation of officials’ knowledge in judging, is a regular feature in the yearly calendar of OBBA. With the advent of physique sports categories at the international level, the reach of OBBA from hardcore body builders to the general public has increased tremendously.
